Congratulations to the UN and the World!

I recall the Geneva main session on cybersecurity at the UN IGF 2017, which
I co-facilitated while representing AfICTA as a MAG member. It was very
tough for institutions from governments and other stakeholders to reach a
common understanding of how to empower cybersecurity cooperation.

You can watch the video of the 2017 IGF Cybersecurity session through this
link. It was like another IGF within the global IGF. Key government actors
from the UN and over 50 countries actively participated, including global
powers.

Since digital trust is an essential component of GDC, there is now a
standard agreement on how to achieve a balanced cybersecurity cooperation
through the endorsement of the GDC.

By implication, there's a great future for the stability of our internet
through this UN effort.

It's worth celebrating. I assume no other voice would work against the
Internet's stability, openness, and unity. Eureka!!!

Meanwhile, our local online media in Nigeria reported this news while
monitoring the UN session.

Congratulations to the UN and all those great institutions and individuals
who work very hard to make this happen.

Best regards.
