Thank you for sharing these documents with us. Great work!

 

I only have two short points that I would like to emphasize:

 

1) Enforce the connection to academia on all levels. This could mobilize already existing knowledge and insights from scientific research plus also serve to mobilize youth.

 

2) Break the silos between different UN agencies ahead of the upcoming WSIS +20 to create a coherent structure and be able to address important issues from a holistic perspective. Maybe the IGF Secretariat that is based in Geneva could do a mapping of the other UN-agencies that are also working on topics of digital technology and the impact of digitalization on society more broadly speaking (e.g. digital hub of OHCHR, but also others) at least in Geneva but possibly also beyond?

As mentioned in the minutes of the last MAG virtual meeting, the WG- Strategy drafted the following documents:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             

1)      Plan of activities for 2022

2)      The matrix of actionable items from the Secretariat’s synthesis document

 

It would be great if you could review and include your comments in the mentioned documents, in suggesting mode, by April 30.
