Hi everyone,

Last week in our BPF on Cybersecurity meeting we discussed how we'll
approach our meeting on November 17th. We're currently anticipating having
two separate panel discussions in the session, of 30 minutes each:

   1. *A panel covering successful norms initiatives outside of cyber and
their role in policy change*, and how these lessons learned can help us
be better at cyber norms, from early development to implementation.
   2. *A panel covering international agreements and initiatives on
cybersecurity*, based on our research paper, looking at how these
agreements refer to the UN-GGE consensus norms, or identify any other
   interesting areas of normative work.

We are looking for suggestions and ideas on stakeholders that would be
thoughtful participants for these panel discussions. Do any of you have
ideas on which stakeholders or organizations we could particularly benefit
from in this discussion?

Feel free to share in a reply to this message with the list for discussion,
or names of individuals are also welcome via e-mail to Ben, Markus and
myself.

A few thoughts from our discussion on the call:

   - *We typically see less participation from government and private
sector stakeholders in our IGF meeting. *If you have suggestions on
organizations we could reach out to, or whom you may contact, these would
   be very much appreciated.
   - Given the virtual nature of the IGF this year, there may be an*
opportunity to bring in additional stakeholders that would otherwise have a
difficult time attending our meeting*. There are of course still
   timezone trade-offs.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions - which we'd welcome until this
Friday, October 30th.

Many thanks,
Maarten
