West is good with pre-emptive wordsmithry, this time towards WSIS+20...
The South simply hasnt the resources and attention span for all this.
The effort of course is to take away all political content from any +20
possibility, and stick everything to nonpolitical rhetoric like in the
digital compact... All this notwithstanding that the world faces in
digital and AI, historical moments that need high level political
decisions and directions. Even the so-called father of AI, Dr Hinton
warned about it, again, only yesterday.. But we can all keep claiming
everything is hunky dory, and the most important thing in the digital
world today is to 'avoid duplication' !!! What does that even mean
(other than do not get carried away by WSIS +20, and just let the 'Big
Tech -- Digital-Superpower Complex' rule).
