Likewise fully agree, this is useful and important. And we need to proceed with work. Anriette, thank you for the list and starting this!

Agree with Anriette, Jorge, and others who've responded. I would include an appeal to consider running these webinars in multiple timezones so that we can have robust and inclusive discussions.
Cheers,

Dear Anriette,
Thank you for this, I fully endorse with the inputs from Jorge too. As Juan said time is of an essence.
Kind regards
Poncelet

Apologies all.. I accidentally sent this unfinished mail yesterday. Here is a complete version:
Dear MAG chair and members and MAG-WG-strategy members
Proposal for online discussions on WSIS+20 'non' papers
As the MAG plans its work for the rest of the year I want to propose that, working with the MAG working group on IGF strategy, it convenes a series of discussions on the various non-papers/white-papers that some governments, tech community, business and civil society organisations have produced on the WSIS+review. Many of these focus specifically on the future evolution and role of the IGF.
A useful preparatory exercise would be to compile a list of these documents. Here are a few examples:
* Australia - WSIS+20 Non-Paper [lists.icann.org]<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/lists.icann.org/hyperkitty/list/wsis20@icann.org/thread/UJJTVKL6EIL3X35YSJ3ODE3OOPJBFGQR/?noscript__;!!PtGJab4!4Qwj6thgqGJUL9Y3ke96TNCqMlWuROOpkbVKph3KsTMxLbiNl6Rrrm50ppbCDZApjGzF1joJY9KFWbCwUd6PoMh-$>
* EU non-paper on World Summit on the Information Society WSIS+20 stakeholder participation [eeas.europa.eu]<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/www.eeas.europa.eu/delegations/un-new-york/eu-non-paper-world-summit-information-society-wsis20-stakeholder-participation_en?s=63__;!!PtGJab4!4Qwj6thgqGJUL9Y3ke96TNCqMlWuROOpkbVKph3KsTMxLbiNl6Rrrm50ppbCDZApjGzF1joJY9KFWbCwUVAO0cb1$>
* Swiss paper - don't have a link but it has been shared here
* The UK has also shared a document but I don't have the link
* There are ISOC and ICANN documents. AUDA published one a while ago.
* From civil society there are, to mention just two, the WSIS+20 Five-Point Plan Follow-up: Eight Practical Recommendations by the Global Digital Rights Coalition and Digital Justice, Now! A Call to Action for WSIS+20 and Beyond [gdjf.globaldigitaljusticeforum.net]<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/gdjf.globaldigitaljusticeforum.net/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Digital_Justice_Now_A_Call_to_Action_for_WSIS20_and_Beyond_v2-1.pdf__;!!PtGJab4!4Qwj6thgqGJUL9Y3ke96TNCqMlWuROOpkbVKph3KsTMxLbiNl6Rrrm50ppbCDZApjGzF1joJY9KFWbCwUcFwovZa$> by the Global Digital Justice Forum
My proposal is that the MAG asks the WG-strategy to convene a series of moderated online discussions over the next few months where the authors of these papers can present them for open discussion. Ideally we could cluster a few together, e.g. two or three at a time, combining state and non-state actors.
The outcome of these discussions would be useful for the "Sounding Board".
Please share how you feel about this proposal - I am not sure it is realistic to wait for the first MAG meeting before starting this. I also think it would be good to draw the Leadership Panel into this process.
Looking forward to your reactions. And, as a starting point, let's build a list of all the relevant documents and where they can be found :)
