Where: Katowice, Poland and online in a hybrid mode
Why: Following the great acceleration caused by the pandemic, Internet governance and digitalization issues are more pressing than ever, with far-reaching consequences for economies, inequalities, human rights, security, and the environment. The 16th UN Internet Governance Forum (IGF) will bring together thousands of Internet experts, innovators, tech industry movers and shakers, civil society leaders and Government ministers to chart a way towards an "Internet United".
