Subject: [IGFmaglist] GGE meeting in New York

Dear MAG Colleagues:

Yesterday ended in New York the 4th and last meeting of the Group of Governmental Experts on Developments in the Field of Information and Telecommunications in the Context of International Security (GGE).

The group did not reached a consensus on the Final Report.

I am attaching the final declaration of the Cuban Expert that explains the reasons for his rejection of the draft Final Report.

You can disseminate them as you consider appropriate. They are public documents.
More than ever I think that the world needs a honest and transparent multi-stakeholder discussion of this issue, because the challenges related with the cybersecurity will not go away, on the contrary, they are increasing.
That's why a Main Session on this subject in December's IGF will be most welcomed.
