[IGFmaglist] Main Sessions - Guidelines

Dear MAG Members,

As discussed on the last virtual call, please find attached the Main Session Guidelines as approved by the MAG for IGF 2016 last year as well as a new document with an updated timeline for the 2017 process.

The WG on Main Session Guidelines have not separately discussed; however, as I noted on the call, it may be that the guidelines themselves do not need to be adjusted as they were well deliberated last year for the Main Sessions proceedings.  IF you think there are any adjustments needed, please send them to us (Flavio and myself) by tomorrow, June 2 so we can incorporate as needed for final approval.

Please also do review the new 2017 timeline and note the deadline for written Main Session proposals to be submitted to the IGF Secretariat on June 8 (so the Secretariat can send them out for MAG review in advance of the in-person meeting).  As a reminder, the format for written Main Session proposals is attached for your use for the submissions.

Also note that we will be discussing the Main Sessions again during the next virtual meeting on June 6.
