Dear Wisdom,

Well done. This conference further underscores the importance of Open data
revolution not only in Africa, but in other developing countries as well.

How I wish MAG Chair can be given the opportunity to make few remarks, most
especially in communicating the values of IGF to Open data.

My rationale is based on a strong connection between what we do at the IGF,
internet governance and the Open data. One of the values of IGF is to
entrench the principles of OPEN INTERNET and Net Neutrality which are vital
to the future of Open Data. As it is now, these principles remain under
continuous threat and the outcome of IGF meetings will significantly impact
the evolution of open data. Internet governance forum remains as the most
vital platform for policy dialogue and connection for the future of Open
data.

At any rate, I wish you successful proceedings.
