Sorry, I don’t understand. I’m on the group/mailing list that’s supposed to be planning the session and there’s been no discussion there of finalizing speaker selections, much less inviting them. The only list of names I have is the one you sent to the MAG as initial suggestions on May 7. If there was closure on formalizing the line-up I missed it on both lists, so please do share. I would suggest though that since we agreed to tweak the session on the last MAG call it would be sensible to review the line-up in that light before proceeding further.
More generally, since as I’ve noted the working group spaces set up for main session planning have generally gone unused, it might be good if we could get a status update on all of them before proceeding with more invitations etc.

Sounds good. My only suggestion would be that 1 and 3 seem integrally linked so it might make sense to reorder along the lines discussed on the last meeting (per Vlada and others) with the conversation focusing first on the various processes evolving in IGF’s operational environment (CSTD, NETmundial, etc) and then second turning to how does the IGF respond operationally, programmatically. So some topics but move from external to internal…

If you could lay out where things stand with the line-up etc. we could go from there…ok?

In previous years these often saw extensive debate on issue framing and speakers, and it was easier to see two months from the meeting what the status of each was.

I’d have probably suggested a more diverse rather than overwhelmingly technical community line-up, but as they say, you snooze, you lose…:-)

I hope we can now take this forward and plan the session accordingly.
