Dear Members of the MAG,
With regards to your interest in joining the various working groups, I have noticed that some members may have assumed that mentioning their interest in a working group or groups on email to the facilitators, or during the OC and MAG meeting, or on the Doodle poll, is sufficient for joining the working group.
Unless the secretariat clarifies otherwise (and Chengetai can kindly advise), it is my understanding that consistent with the intimation by the IGF secretariat dated December 4, 2014 (attached below),  members need to sign on to each individual working group to be able to contribute to and receive information from others in that working group. At least that is the process that I was advised to follow.
The signing on to the working groups necessitates parting with email information and creating personal passwords, etc., and thus, may not  be possible via facilitators or others, on behalf of individual members.  The list of working groups is provided in Chengetai’s email attached below.
I hope this clarifies the actual process of joining working groups.
