This will be quite helpful, if it happens.

Dear colleagues,

In the last DCCG meeting before the summer break, we discussed the concept
of having two representatives of the DCs as permanent representatives in
the MAG, with the goal of a better representation and to align the IGF
better with its intersessional work and its outcomes. We can now enter the
next phase.

As agreed upon, Avri Doria and I have written a draft letter to MAG member
Flavio Wagner, who enthusiastically supported the idea in Lillestrøm, and
MAG chair Carol Roach as a starting point for a discussion on this topic
with MAG. Below you find a link to the Google Doc, so you can familiarise
yourself with the topic, the proposal and make comments.

We will discuss the letter in our meeting next week. From what I
understand, the concept is seen as a serious option within the current MAG.

Kind regards,

Wout de Natris - van der Borght

Coordinator IS3C

Hi Roman

Please continue to rotate DC meerting call times for participants across
the world, especially west coast of the America and Asia and the Pacifc all
very active in ICTs.

For DC DDHT we strive to have at least one admin member on the call from;
June Parris, Amado Eapinosa, Jorn Erbguth, Houda Chihi, Yao and Joao ( whom
you all know).

As an info for all on the DDHT succession planning, Jorn and Amado are now
joint Vice Chairs. Yao( tech and primary admin), Joao ( medical) and
Herman( tech) lead the Next Gen Policy team as joint Next Gen DDHT
coordinators for DDHT. We thought it important to make this age based
distinction, we take age to 35 or so at this time. Houda is our Tech
Policy lead.

As you may be aware, Jorn is a specialist in privacy, blockchain and other
tech matters, and Amado on medical informatics. June is the specialist
following the main DC matters for us.

All the above stakeholder members know IGF and DDHT well.

Thank you for your attention,

Amali De Silva-Mitchell
Chair IGF DC Data Driven Health Technologies DDHT
