Dear DCs

 

I will not be able to join you at 4am my time, for our call. Hence I write a brief message to all of you. 

 

In recent months due to the high sovereign debt loads of typical aid donating nations and their own priorites, there is a cut back to traditional international aid to developing nations. We need to hence, encourage an environment of  local volunteerism of donated time and resources, to get icts developed for the future, at the local level ecosystems  This may include AI projects.

 

I know myself first hand that this can be an effective approach for building local ict capacities. For universal health and wellness for all, SDG3, we need to develop access and relevant icts fast, before we have another global  pandemic. 

 

Please support me in encouraging an environment of ict development by volunteerism in your sectors, so that people can see what can be achieved by people together for All, in Goodwill. Social entrepreneurship is what is required to make the SDGs happen, in conservative fiscal times.
