Dear Sivasubramanian,

Thank you very much for your input.

Yes, during next months along the project, there will be testable partial deliveries for additional inputs, suggestions and possible amendments. And the links migration and management for accuracy is part of the project - it will be covered.

Best regards,
Luis

Apologies. I missed this meeting. Is there a link to the new Website in progress, for comments? It is good to see what Luis said " the very beginning of the project, the company is already working with the W3C standards". Is there a private space for the DCs to see the website-in-progress?

Also, on a few occasions when the IGF made changes to the websites, the format for storing and retrieving pages / links was probably changed, for e.g (NOT actual examples) intgovforum.org/events/igf2009/workshops/title_of_the_workshop.html
to intgovforum.org/archives/2009/workshop1001.html --- such changes happen when the underlying directory structure is streamlined or the automatic file naming format is changed. I have noticed that several links to earlier archives are now broken. If this indeed has happened in the past -- during migration or upgrade or any transition -- the process of building a new website may please take into account how changes reflect to the links to past archives, as the original links were probably published by workshop organisers or participants in blogs / social networks which also needs to continue working with some form of backward compatibility (this is not the technical term associated with change of file formats, but the idea conveyed here is that the old links in the old format also needs to work when the directory structure and file naming conventions are changed)

Thank you.

However, I couldn't find the document they were discussing - the 2020 docs are on the web but not the 2021 draft that was under discussion. Do I need to join DC to see that stuff ?
