Hello all,

on today's BP call, I mentioned that Microsoft had recently had issues
with their reliance on IPv4 in both their out-facing products, but also
internally.
Please find the links to a blog post last year (external product):
http://www.internetsociety.org/deploy360/blog/2014/06/ipv4-exhaustion-gets-real-microsoft-runs-out-of-u-s-addresses-for-azure-cloud-time-to-move-to-ipv6/

And just fresh off the Press last week (internally):
http://blogs.wsj.com/digits/2015/05/14/microsoft-execs-expressed-shock-and-disbelief-at-internet-address-shortage/

This article also quotes Gartner researchers as saying the cost of
outfitting a public-facing website for IPv6 could cost 7 percent of a
company's IT budget.
Kindest regards,

Olivier
