IGF 2022 High-Level Track
See who's speaking in this year's IGF High-Level Track. Leaders from government, civil society, the technical community and private sector will contribute to three thematic panels, the opening & closing ceremonies, and more.

Preparations
The 17th annual IGF meeting will be hosted by the Government of Ethiopia in Addis Ababa from 28 November to 2 December 2022 on Resilient Internet for a Shared Sustainable and Common Future and on five constituent themes aligned with the Secretary-General's envisioned Global Digital Compact. The IGF 2022 Schedule (document version) is published and registration is available (participants list). IGF 2022 intersessional work is also underway. Preparations for IGF 2022 are ongoing. The First Open Consultations and MAG Meeting was held online from 23 to 25 February. It discussed the calls for feedback & improvements, as well as the call for thematic inputs. The Second IGF 2022 Open Consultations and MAG Meeting was hosted at the United Nations Office at Geneva from 6 to 8 July 2022. The intersessional work is also under implementation, open to everyone to participate. Subscribe to its mailing lists to connect with the existing networks.

The Internet Governance Forum (IGF) serves to bring people together from various stakeholder groups as equals, in discussions on public policy issues relating to the Internet. While there is no negotiated outcome, the IGF informs and inspires those with policy-making power in both the public and private sectors. At their annual meeting delegates discuss, exchange information and share good practices with each other. The IGF facilitates a common understanding of how to maximize Internet opportunities and address risks and challenges that arise.
