Dear Mr Kummer and all;
Im Mónica Abalo. Im the president of Argentina Chapter of ISOC which has
joined to hub remote participation to the IGF and jointly with Olga are
pushing the initiative locally.
>From the Chapter we are promoting participation among our members and other
people.
Within the information of the IGF web page, remote participants are
encourage to register in advance.
My questions are:
- if the on line registration form is the same for those participants will
attend the meeting in person. If do so, we need to clarify in the
registration the remote hub we belong to?
- if the registration for remote participation must do by single participant
or by remote host with independence of number of people will assist
- user name and password to participate in the IGF will be the same given by
dim dims team for dim dim trainings? If not, when do you think that ID and
password will be assigned?
- once each hub has ID and password, these identification data can be used
to connect with any session and workshop or we need to choose previously
each session where will participate?
Sorry for lot of questions but we are preparing the instructions for
interested participants so we want to have all information as possible to
guide the people.
Best regards,
Dra. Mónica Abalo Laforgia
Presidenta
ISOC-Ar Capítulo Argentina

Asunto: Re: [Rpg_hyd] Remote Hubs--Official Announcement--DimDim training
Dear Olga,
dear all,
The reason why the list may not be functioning is that some people are
sending emails with too many recipients. It would indeed be more efficient
to rely on the list for the further discussion of the project. You can go
the list archives to check what has been sent.
As you have already noted, we have now launched the project on our Web site
and encourage interested Remote Hub organizers to register with us.
The reason why we have not yet listed your hub is because you have not given
a complete description. We would like to list location and institution. If
there are others on the list, please let us know, and please also indicate
the city and the institution the Remote Hub is based in.
Best regards
Markus
