Dear Max, Vlada
Request you to approach IGF Secretariat (Markus or Chengatai) formally, so that they pre-approve this. We from NIXI (co-host) and DimDim side assure of all support.
Rajesh

Hello Sundar, dear secretariate members on this list
I would also like to organize access to the workshops the Internet Bill of Rights coalition is organizing:
1) Internet Bill of Rights IGF workshop will be held from 14.30 to 16.00 on Day 3 of the IGF (5th December) in room 7.
and
2) Mainstreaming human rights in the work of the IGF (organized by Global Partners and the IBR coaltion) will be held at 11.30 am on Day 3 of the IGF (5th December) in room 5.
Could somebody from the secretariate please explain what needs to be done to get remote access approved?
@ Sunar:
it is really difficult to say which remote hubs want to participate - i thought this is an open meeting/stream? can you please setup a wiki page or similar where interested parties can sign up?
I myself have extensive experience with dimdim, but i will find somone who will facilitate the remote participation during the meetings.
As for the remote hubs - i would believe that it is their responsibility to get people trained in dimdim. I can not coordinate their training.
Looking forward to making this happen
Max

Hello Marlia,
From Dimdim's side we can make this happen. I think Secretariat and IGF Organizers would have to approve this.
Couple of points to get this process going:
Who will be in the workshop venue in Hyderabad, India coordinating with all participants? That person will have to be trained on Dimdim.
Where would be the remote hubs situated?
Who would be the main contact person in the remote hubs? They will have to be trained on Dimdim.

Dear members of the Secretariat, IGF Organizers and DimDim team,
I write you on behalf of Vladimir Radunovic (copied on this e-mail), who is the coordinator of the IG Capacity Building Program from DiploFoundation, to ask you if its possible to make DimDim audio available for remote participation in the Workshops organized by Diplo (below). According to previous explanations, I understand the condition would be to appoint a person that would be responsible to pre-approve the questions send through DimDim, am I correct?
Please, let me know the procedure to make it happen.
Best regards
Marlia
