You can count on our full support to make a success of it.. In order to help make these remote hubs a reality we propose promoting it on the IGF site, displaying information about these hubs and encouraging other hubs to form and register with us. At this stage we would like to know how many of them are expected to be set up. Could you write back to us and give us the following information so that we can advertise the hubs on our We site: Contact name: Contact email: Institution were the hub will be based: Possible area(s) of interest within the 5 main themes: Number of expected participants within the hub: Do you have any pre-meeting activities planned, if so what and where: In addition, we will upload a remote participation sign-up form for remote participants so that we have a record of how many people participate remotely. We hope that this will add value to the remote participation. (All participants at the remote hubs are encouraged to register.) Last but not least we encourage those of you who have not yet done so to subscribe to our listserve, to facilitate including newcomers into the discussion. In India, we already have commitment from ISOC Delhi Chapter for a hub in Delhi, and from Zensar Business Innovation Centre, Pune (courtesy old Diplo Veteran Nikhil Aggarwal) for a hub in Pune. Both hubs will soon send the information required. My only concern or request is that this project should not be seen as a "top-down" project, but as a bottom-up effort which got due recognition from IGF Secretariat, and it should be executed as a truly multistakeholder (in letter and spirit) fashion.
