[IGFmaglist] MAG Selection Process - a "heads up"

Hi Chair, Secretariat, MAG members!
I also think that we have to do more on social communication building strong spirit aiming to boost interactions within MAG and help newbies settle well. This can go through towards some little social events or some coffee breaks or cocktail during MAG meetings. I realise we still do hectic work during MAG meeting but adding social events will only reinforce our team and allow newcomers discover other areas for more interactions.

This is an excellent organisational development- well done.

Like Avri, I immediately start to think how we can capitalize on this, by- for example, having the new members attending the IGF and working through some kind of initiation/induction/handover processes.

Reducing the rush imposed on nominating bodies and allowing a more measured start to the next year are to be welcomed.
