I took a look at hotel room costs and availability in Geneva [using one of the booking companies] just before the ICANN meeting.

>From March 4,5,6,7 -- hotels that are normally 200 - 340 sf are 1,000 sf, and some are 2,000 sf per night. and I counted about 20 that are completely sold out.  I believe that Chengetai had already made reference to that shortage of hotels in that time slot.

Hello everyone, and Happy New year! (still January so I guess it still counts :) )

Suggested dates are fine for me.
Also, moving them closer to the ICANN meeting works, however, this would be great to know as soon as you can confirm (I understand the challenge of booking the room etc.) - so that people planning to attend ICANN meeting can book the tickets properly and on time (reduces the costs of changing the ticket).

Just to inform that the days are conflicting with APRICOT 2017 and APNIC
43, scheduled from 20th February to 2nd March 2017. So it will be
difficult for those who already have confirmed for APRICOT and APNIC 43.
A little shift for a week would be great for us, of-course if it does
not create more problem for others.
