[IGFmaglist] Thank you to the secretariat (was: IGF Lightning Sessions 2017)

I want to support what Lynn wrote because she simply gave voice to a sentiment that is common to all of us.
Secrétariat of the IGF (despite the worst conditions ever in terms of number of staff and resources) has made a wonderful job and had a main role in making of the 2017 IGF in Geneva a great success.
So a big thank from all of us is the minimum we can do.
By the way, happy new year, to all of those in this mailing list.

Thank you Miguel, and a VERY big thank you to Eleonora, who has done so much to advance these sessions over the last two years.  This has been a really important improvement in the IGF programme.  Thank you Eleonora and Miguel.

I would like to take this opportunity to again recognize the incredible contributions the IGF Secretariat made to this years IGF and to all its growing and considerable intercessional activities.  Their support was unwavering and all the more impressive given their very limited resources and the ever increasing workload and expectations.    The entire secretariat deserves a special and big thank you for all they have accomplished.    The IGF Secretariat was instrumental in making the IGF the success it was, and so a very big thank you to:

Anja Gengo
Luis Bobo Garcia

For the MAG’s info. (the secretariat is aware), I have sent a note of thanks and recognition to UNDESA management for the IGF Secretariat’s support.
