[IGFmaglist] Plea to session organisers, spread the word: NAME YOUR SPEAKERS! Support online participation

Hi everyone,
*Please encourage panel moderators to introduce panellists by name and
organisation so that they appear in the transcript.*
Online participants are often watching the webcast or transcript, and
rapporteurs are using these tools to write reports. Since sessions/workshop
very often do not follow the workshop descriptions of speakers, information
about the speakers is frequently missing.
Attendees want to know who the speakers are, and the transcripts often say:
Moderator.... Panelist... so it's important to identify and self identify.
We laugh every time Marilyn says 'my name is Marilyn Cade' (well, it's
funny) -- but how I wish everyone did that!
Happy IGF -- attending from Wisconsin, USA.
Ginger
