[IGFmaglist] Main session human rights update

Dear all,

I'm not sure I am able to make the meeting as the timing doesn't quite
work for my timezone. Sending an update via email for now:

1) Co facilitators: Jac sm Kee and Ginger Paque

2) New title: From the last MAG meetings as well as email exchanges, the
emphasis on needing a more explicit mention of both human rights as well
as ESCR was raised. So a suggested v 3 is: "Human rights -
        Emphasising economic, social, and cultural rights for the
        Internet"
Would appreciate if everyone thinks this adequately covers the
discussion, or if there are further inputs, they are welcomed.

3) Received inputs and suggestions for speakers (huge thanks to all!) -
have begun invitations and finalising. So far, 6 invitations have been
sent to representatives from intergovernmental organisations,
governments, civil society and academia. Still looking for
recommendations of: speakers from the private sector (thanks much to
Cheryl for recommendations, and also welcome receive more, esp if
working on issues related to ESCR in the rights portfolio), technical
community and also hugely welcome recommendations from host country for
a substantive speaker from the govt. of Mexico.

4) Remote moderators: Unfortunately neither Ginger nor Deidre Williams
would be able to attend the IGF, so they cant be on-site moderators. We
are currently identifying alternatives.

We will send an updated session description by next week with names of
confirmed speakers once we hear back.
