Mark, You know my mantra ALREADY.I attended all Open consultations, was actually thown out of a MAG meeting that I thought I was invited to, and still came back. The MAG has opened its sessions. I attended all. 
Two years ago, I was priviledged to be appointed to the MAG, and after I rotate off, I will again attend all open consultations. 
as you are noting below. 
I say it often and always: MAG members when they rotate off must be continuing champions for the IGF. 
and aspiring MAG /members can earn their wings by working in the national IGFs.
So, you are not coming off the MAG. You are now MAG emeritus.
with a lot of work still to support the IGF, which you already committed to.

Many congratulations to Lynn on her appointment: this is great news indeed and I wish her well in the preparations for IGF11 in Mexico and subsequently. 
I'm coming off the MAG at this time - sadly so and I will miss this work but my time is up and it is time for new people with fresh ideas to contribute to this important work! As an IGF donor government, the UK Government looks forward to helping Lynn and the MAG to build on the success of the IGFs in Joao Pessoa and Istanbul in particular under Janis's much appreciated skilful chairmanship. Our joint aims should be to continue to enhance the IGF's effectiveness, to increase its tangible outputs and to create more meaningful outreach to stakeholder communities in developing countries and small island states, through strengthening and reinforcing IGF improvements consistent with the CSTD's recommendations. The MAG also needs to embrace the ideas and ambitions of young people as the next generation of Internet leaders. They have a vitally important contribution to make to the MAG's work and their voices need to be integrated more effectively in the IGF programme.  
And we need to secure more donors which should be an easier task now that UNGA has agreed the mandate for 10 years! 
I look forward to meeting up with many of you in Geneva on 4-6 April.
