I have sent Eleonara's email to those who have contacted me with concerns, so I am confident that those with problems will be coached through.
On the other hand, I think that after we get through this, we might ask for some feedback from submitters, to improve the submission process. 

I have not submitted a workshop form while I have been a MAG member but I do recall some challenges when I was a submitter and perhaps the Secretariat might, after the submissions are finalized, and we MAG-ITES are evaluating, consider what improvements to the process might be needed. 
I will note that MAG members, unless they have even submitted a workshop pre being a MAG member, might not be aware of the challenges of being a submitter. :-)

Dear Chengetai, I also received concerns about the submission form having issues, had to spend quite sometime with them to get it going, we found a workaround for one of the issues. It will be good to have the submission form open for sometime after the deadline, even if an extension is not announced. Taking people on a case by case basis after the deadline, as you suggested, will also be helpful.

The speaker requirements have been relaxed and no longer need to be confirmed.
If they are people with extra-ordinary circumstances they can approach the Secretariat (Eleonora) and we can take them on a case by case basis but on the whole the deadline should be kept.

I know MAG wanted to stick with our deadline of June 6, but I consider a request of two days reasonable. 
I raise this to the MAG list, as I suspect I am not the only MAG member to be hearing about the need for a few days extension.
