I would like to highlight a new, experimental format that worked incredibly well. At the Internet Society's Open Forum on Tuesday, we devoted 40 minutes of the session to doing a Lightning Round Solutions Slam (LRSS?). Watch the last 20 minutes of the video to see the results. Lots of great ideas, wonderful sharing and enthusiasm, mega-buzz and energy. We had 90 people jammed into a room designed for 50.

Kudos to Karen Rose for trying something radical and new!!

Corner Sessions
Unfortunately we had to cancel them since just 5 persons showed. I think there are many reasons, lack of communication, room location, etc. I hope we have the chance to try again next year with those ideas in mind.
Unconference
These worked well, we had 6 out of 8 slots requested by speakers. One of the requesters didn't show so we had seven 20-minute sessions (from 4 to 6PM).The attendance was acceptable, with an average of 20 people.I think these number could be better if we work on the space, time and communication.

Lightning Sessions
Maybe you could see for yourself how well they worked. We gave the chance to 24 non-selected proposers to have their 20-minute space. Just one cancelled.The attendance was really good, with an average of 40 people for the first 3 days (I am writing this on Friday morning).The only problems we had was the smoke (the place is near the Tacos place) and sometimes the Mariachis who's serenatas were loud and it was hard to listen to the speakers.The location was perfect since, after having lunch, lots of people went there to rest before the afternoon meetings.

Finally, I would like to thank the Secretariat and the MAG for giving us the chance to experiment with these formats, the WG volunteers for their help, the local organisers for their tremendous job and specially to Eleonora, without her restless work, none of these would be possible.
