Dear Members of the MAG,
Many thanks for your suggestions and inputs on the "Note Inviting Comments" relating to the main / focus session combining "Access" and "Internet for Growth and Development".
I am in the process of consolidating all the comments including excellent options for the title, suggested by several members, with a view to put out Version 2.0 - for further discussion. I think the idea for a poll to finalize a title is an excellent one - while keeping in mind the instructions for brevity of workshop titles, as has been suggested on the IGF website.
Due to travel and the very busy schedule of NETmundial, UN CSTD Working Group on Enhanced Cooperation and other related meetings, some members and volunteers had sought additional time to provide suggestions and comments. The "Note Inviting Comments" is attached herewith again for your ready reference. Based on your final inputs, we can take the discussion to the stage.
Many thanks for your cooperation and team work.
Warm Regards
Virat Bhatia

Subject: REMINDER: FOR YOUR INPUTS ON THE NOTE INVITING COMMENTS (NIC) ON THE MAIN SESSION ON ACCESS AND DEVELOPMENT

Dear MAG Members.
This is further to the 3rd virtual MAG call held on April 16, regarding the main session, followed by 16 volunteers who have very kindly agreed to help with the session.
On April 14 a note Inviting comments (NIC) was circulated amongst MAG members (attached herewith for easy reference) for comments across a arrange of issues to help structure the session by ensuring all inputs are included.
This is a reminder for receiving your inputs by the deadline of Thursday, April 24, 2014, so that draft Ver. 2.0 can reflect your views/ inputs etc.
I realize that some of us are deeply engaged with the NETmundial meeting and therefore delays in responses are understandable. A couple of minutes on the format and policy questions will be most helpful.
Many thanks to those who have already contributed.
Sincerely,
Virat Bhatia

A note for brief relating to the main session is being circulated here for your comments, advice and inputs. This is a first basic attempt to get options for titles, formats, moderators, speakers and most importantly, off the ground for discussion and inputs from all. Based on the inputs a conference call can be proposed amongst contributors and volunteers and all others who wish to join.

The NIC is attached. You are requested for initial comments by Thursday, April 24, 2014. The note provides some early outline ideas and invites comments on the issues of:

1. Background brief on the sub-themes

2. Suggested titles for main session

3. Suggested formats

4. Suggested Moderators / Remote Moderators

5. Suggestions for potential speakers / organizations

6. Suggested Policy questions

7. Suggested for Timelines for execution

8. Request for volunteers

Time permitting we could discuss this session on the 3rd virtual meeting of the MAG scheduled for Wednesday, April 16, 2014.

Look forward to your first set of comments and ideas by April 24, 2014. We also need some of the volunteers to hold the pen on the document as it develops.

Thanking you for your cooperation.

Regards
Virat Bhatia
