Dear Constance & all,

Here are my suggestions on the Best Practice Forum for the IGF 2014

>From all the Main sessions last year these were my takeaways :

Some of the new and welcome initiatives last year:

1. A set of 7-8 policy questions which each Main session- responds to and
addresses.
2. Every 20 mins the moderators/facilitators of all the main sessions do a
recap/ articulation of 1-2 significant points which have emerged so far
3. In the end it was advisable to do a short summary with key takeaways

Now moving on- AIM-This year, to further the knowledge agenda and 'best
practices'

We can also have a general agreement that in all the Main focus sessions we
can urge all the speakers and resource persons to proactively share *best
practices *where relevant, and the facilitors of those sessions or any
MAG/Non MAG member can reccord/ make a note of those learnings in particular

This should be done in all the relevant Main sessions.especially but not
limited to


   - Access & IG4D
   - local/relevant content creation and dissemination,
   - Regional & National IGFs,
   - IGF future and Internet ecosphere, IG principles including but not
   limited to multistakeholderism,
   - Human rights
   - Surveillance  & emerging issues

WAY FORWARD & INTEGRATION:

The people who volunteer for this role- MAG/Non-MAG members /Best practice
ambassadors can do a read out, from their respective sessions in a
dedicated

*MAIN focus* session on BEST PRACTICES @IGF

FORMAT: Can be a roundtable/ Open MIC for maximum interactivity with Just a
few initial identified facilitators.
