Thank you Chengetai.

The only thing that really sticks out for me is the "appeals if needed" language. I suggest the language be removed because: 

1) it risks giving a false impression to workshop proposers that the MAG has developed an appeals process for all declined proposals

2) the MAG has not developed an appeals process

3) the need originally to be addressed by "appeals" was that some very high quality proposals were rejected last year by slim margins. Under the new procedure the May meeting will provide the opportunity to discuss those types of proposals and potentially invite the proposers to re submit. 

4) this is not an appeals process, and, further, it involves only a small group of proposals, not all declined proposals.

Setting expectations is key and the "appeals" language will mislead people.
