Dear all,

I refer to my previous postings regarding the Internet Society's intention to set up an IGF Support Association. If you are interested in joining the Association, I would like to invite you to subscribe to the mailing list we created for this purpose:

We will use this list for holding a preliminary discussion in view of launching the Association in Istanbul and will ask  to let us know by 15 August whether you would like to join the Association at its constituent General Assembly to be held on 1 September. We have reserved a room for a lunchtime meeting and need to know in advance how many people plan to attend, as we plan to order light refreshments.

We have created a logo through a crowdsourcing process that ended up with around 50 different proposals. The logo we have selected was created by M B Studio, a small boutique studio in India, and is displayed on  a landing page on the ISOC website:

Once the Association is up and running, we will create a separate website, independent from the ISOC website.
