[IGFmaglist] MAIN SESSION ON ACCESS / DEVELOPMENT: FINAL CIRCULATION OF DRAFT TEMPLATE

Dear Members of the MAG and volunteers for the main session on Access / Development,
As you are aware, the listing of the main session according to a template provided by the IGF secretariat is due on August 4, 2014.  Owing to that and to receive your valuable comments, a note with the updated list of speakers, moderators, remote moderators, feeder sessions, and other important information was circulated last week on Wednesday, July 23, 2014.
Comments received have been incorporated.
A total of 12 emails have been sent so far, soliciting comments, since the planning for the main sessions began after the MAG meeting in Geneva, in February 2014.
This is our final opportunity to improve, comment on or suggest changes to this session.  The latest draft of the template is attached herewith for your ready reference.
Please be advised that we have received a regret from Dr. Hamadoun Touré's office.  We are informed that he will not be attending the IGF this year due to "an extremely tight schedule which excludes the possibility of him attending the IGF on those dates."
Other main session / workshop organizers, who have invited him to speak, may take notice of this. In the meantime, an invitation has been extended to Mr. Houlin Zhao, Deputy Secretary General, ITU.  His response is awaited.
Request you to send your final comments by end-of-business Friday, August 1, 2014, to enable us to meet the deadline of August 4, 2014, for submitting this template to the IGF secretariat.
