[IGFmaglist] Post IGF 2013

Let me join my fellow MAG members in thanking Mr. Moedjiono and the
Indonesian organizing committee. This IGF set an example in every aspect.
Facilities were excellent and helped  us to concentrate only on issues
related to internet governance. It is my impression that all participants
had a rich experience      

I would like to thank MAG members for their great work, Markus being in the
forefront.

 

I believe we will have some time to evaluate what to improve, but we are on
the right track.

organizing committee for the Bali IGF. It was really MSH and that was really
good.

during the event, from corner to corner.

 

I understand that there were many blood, sweat and tears behind the scenes
with

little sleep or resources. I heard one such aspect about the Wi-Fi facility
for the

main room. Had there been a little more financial resources, it would have
been

much more stable, one of the engineers told me. But considering the overall

limitations, the local team members did their best, I really appreciate your
efforts.

 

Well, Visa was one problem we need to address, especially for the future

meetings. A good friend of mine made last-minute decision not to come due

to the late communication. I know this is somehow beyond the local
organizing

committee, but host government should do its best to avoid such situation to
happen.

 

Well, in any case, it was one of the best IGF really and am proud being an
Asian myself.

supports, sugggestions, contributions and comments during the preparation
and execution process. We have tried hard to be the host and to meet
required standards. But, please apologize us for everything which we are not
able to meet all of your individual requirements as well as required

Once again, many thanks for all your support and hard work.  Your helped
make the 2013 IGF the best IGF ever!

In Bali, we did not find the time to upload a feed-back survey form, but it
is not too late to do this, while the memories are still fresh. Any
suggestions as to what questions we should ask are welcome.

On another note, the Secretariat will set up a doodle poll to find a slot
for a first review call.
