[IGFmaglist] Today's MAG meeting

Markus,

Will we have a discussion today on the timing of the next IGF?  

We've heard that it may be in the first week of September.

APNIC 38 will be held in New Caledonia, from 2 to 12 September.  The first week is for training workshops and would not represent a show-stopping clash with IGF in that week (i.e. week of 1-5 September).

But if IGF were held in the week of 8 September, this would be a pretty big problem for APNIC.

I'd strongly prefer to have no overlap at all, and for IGF to be held after the APNIC meeting, but I realise that there are many competing factors here.  I just hope we can avoid the week of 8 Sept.
