Thank you Markus for a summary of discussion and reminding that it is still
"on the table".
I think "taking stocks" should be more substantial than a simple survey on
what worked and what not - it should be the place where the entire
functioning (political and operational) of the IGF should be discussed. The
CSTD report invites for the IGF improvements, and IGF should certainly find
the place to discuss it within its main annual meeting - I see "taking
stocks" session as the place for that. That means it would both pick up on
what worked and what not at the IGF Bali (but not only logistically, also
thematically, process-wise etc) and what should be the improvements (in all
aspects) in future. The session can be structured to follow the CSTD report
segments of improvements and collect the inputs of participants (both in
the room and remotely and through social media) in this regards.
(There, MAG should also try to be more silent and listen to others that do
not have chance to speak often)
My 2 cents.
Best!
Vlada
