Dear all,

I'm sorry but I will not be able to join the call today.

One thing that strikes me is the importance of ensuring that the IGF remains accessible to all. In an email last week, it was pointed out that many people have planned ahead for the IGF, booked travel and rooms (non-refundable) and signed contracts for events etc.

It is my experience that flight prices increase the nearer to travel. Accordingly as a member of civil society, we have already booked our flights (9 from London to Bali) to ensure an affordable fare.  This was also important for logistical reasons with bringing young people and needing a larger group booking for travelling together with chaperones etc.

I agree that it is important the IGF goes ahead, but wonder how accessible it will be to all stakeholders if it is relocated in terms of visas, and travel and accommodation costs and would also question who this will impact and how.
